Blivit
The innovative guitarless rock band with an... interesting... name, needed an equally interesting identity to match. Once you know the meaning of the word Blivit, "Five pounds of s#!% in a three-pound bag," you can probably see why this was not an easy identity to create. (You should've seen my sketchbook!) So after brainstorming with Brothers From Another's Slap I decided to go with a slightly less literal concept, and used the image of a fly to... well... get the point across. (If they ever decide to rename the band, I fully intend to be a part of the conceptualization phase... 'cause I'm not burning another sketchbook.)
Note: I hired my brother Tim to do the CD's illustrations. He's five years younger, and a better artist than I'll ever be. Uh, I mean...
