The Surfrider Foundation — South Jersey
As a fledgling (and hooked!) surfer, I check Surfline's daily report every morning at my desk here in the city, and daydream about sitting on my board, watching those monstrous 1-2 foot Jersey shore waves roll in. Alright so it's not Pipeline, but because we're not handed perfection on a silver platter, we learn how to have a great time on just about any wave. (So there.)
I came across the Surfrider Foundation while checking the report one day and joined because their mission is one that I am passionate about. As it turns out, they were looking for a site redesign, so I used the site as a guinea pig to learn the latest in CSS standards-based design [in case you're wondering] and made it the second part of my donation.
